About Peyton

The Lord dispensed His saving grace to me when  I was a freshman in High School. After a few years of backsliding following my conversion, which was enabled by the secular schools I attended, God brought me "out from Ur of the Chaldeans" (Gen. 15:7) to pursue Him more diligently. God has graciously called me to preach the Gospel of Christ to the youth at Bellaire Baptist Church, and He has also provided me an opportunity to study Him and His works at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  

I have a lovely wife, Katelyn, who really is my "good thing" (Prov. 18:22). Together we have a young son named Abram, and Micah will be making his arrival soon! We love our children and are praying for many more.
